Yeah, well- I can't let the right one catch on and get jealous. Come on- dinner will get cold. [Carrying a candle in one hand he reaches for Matt's hand with the other and leads him over to the small table. It's just pasta and some bread. Nothing fancy but it's theirs.]

Wonder how long we'll be in the dark.

[ Matt doesn't hesitate now, especially when they're alone. Just the two of them makes it so easy. Maybe it'll get easier everywhere else too. But for now? Now there's this, and this is already way more than he could have ever really hoped for.

So he takes his hand, fingers threading together as they move to sit down, letting go of his hand to get comfortable, but reaching out for it over the table soon after. He wants to keep that closeness, he wants to keep with him. ]

Oh I'm sure we'll find a way to entertain ourselves. He wiggles his eyebrows. Anyway. It's kind of [ he shrugs ]romantic, isn't it.

A bit, yeah. [He sits and puts his hand on the table as well, letting Matt take his hand and just smiling at how nice this feels.]

It's nice. Quiet. [He smiles across the table at him, looking like he's falling in love all over again. And he might be.]

[ Matt doesn't know what to do when Nate looks at him like that. It's amazing to be looked at like that. Like there's nothing but you. It could be overwhelming, and it almost is. But it's too amazing for that. ]

You like quiet? That a comment on my musical talent? [ He teases him, smiling a bit as he gives his hand a squeeze, just in case there were any doubt. ]

What? [ he asks ]. What you thinking?

[ He lifts Nate's hand and pulls it towards himself, kissing the back of his fingers before he sets it down again. ] I'm just sorry it took me so long to get here. Wasted a lot of time fucking everything up.

[ He leans back a little, looking over him, how the candlelight plays on his face. ]

[He looks at him a little oddly.]

[Excuse him while he chokes on a bit of pasta.]

[ He starts to laugh and shakes his head. ]

Oh yeah because I was going to bring that up? Morning, oh and by the way I just had a dream bout you giving me a blow job.
